Austin Creative Reuse is a nonprofit that collects and sells donated craft materials. Their goal is to give unwanted materials a new life through crafting and upcycling. ACR is a volunteer-run organization that seeks to “foster conservation and reuse through creativity, education and community building.”
The Salvation Army Family Stores support the programs of the Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC), a voluntary, faith-based program serving men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. When you donate goods to The Salvation Army, those goods are then sold through our stores and funds are used for the ARC programs.
Arms of Hope is a not-for-profit Christian care organization that assists children and single-mother families in need, helping them avoid homelessness, poverty, abuse and neglect and by leading them to lives of sustaining and productive citizenship.
Josco Products is a local textile recycler and industrial manufacture passionate about reuse. Founded in 1980, JOSCO creates upcycled industrial cleaning products out of surplus textiles such as clothing, sheets and fabric.
